Does Mail Archiver need a reverse proxy?
Yes, for HTTPS. The app does not serve encrypted traffic itself, so put it behind a reverse proxy.
Can Mail Archiver delete mail from my mail server?
Yes, if you turn on retention policies. Each account can delete mail from the mailserver after a set period such as 30, 90 or 365 days, with a separate period for the local archive. Setting DeletionPolicy__DeletionAllowed=false locks manual deletion in the archive.
